Toilet seat

Odd one..

Does anyone know where I can buy a solid plastic - not MDF or coated toilet seat that's good quality for not too much cash?

B&Q, Homebase, Wickes, Focus etc all tried to no avail, all they have are nasty MDF jobs that don't last or clear perspex ones with barbed wire in - god knows who wants to sit on that

Strange B&Q have none, we got a pretty decent plastic one there a while back, one of the soft close jobbies.

Maybe some local independent kitchen/bathroom store if you know any.

bet he dont like MDF ones because he pees all over the seat and its soaks in a rots the wood

Try bath stores, they'll normally have a good range of toilet seats.

Got a soft close one from ebay for £35 a few days ago.

I'd avoid the cheap ones with chrome fixings. They always rust, even when cleaned every day.

That looks like something the council might put in the local conveniences...

The reason I don't want MDF is because if it gets scratched then it blows and looks nasty
