I'm using Afterburner to OC, and the max voltage i can set it to is 1.1V, the default is 963Mv.

Basically what i want to know is, is it safe to just slide it all the way to 1.1v? or is there a recommended voltage not to go above?

I'm on stock cooling for now, EK GTX 580 block on its way!

All help really appreciated!

It's usually advisable not to exceed default voltage + 10%.

In your case it would be 1060mV or so. Of course once you find a stable overclock at this voltage you might want to either lower it to the lowest possible or increase it a little to get even better overclock.

It should be fine at 1.1V. It actually translates to 1.063V under load.

So just go to 1.1v and hope for the best then? :D

So around 1.06, that might be a good idea until it's under water.

If you do run your GTX 570 at 1.1v then keep a very close eye on the temps..

I noticed that the temps shoot up when i ran my GTX 580 at 1.1v 900mhz (And so does the power draw  )

Yeah idle temp is up 7c and Load is now 84c, still decent results.
