£298 to spend

Hi guys,

Just got a cheeky tax rebate that I wasn't expecting of £298.

What would you add to my sig?

I don't really want another 6970 to go xfire.

More monitors? Nicer monitor? Larger SSD perhaps?

I'm just a bit stumped and would rather spend it on something substantial than put it in the bank and fritter away on nothing.

Sell your current monitor and buy 2x Dell U2311H or save up for a U2711? Another 6970 would be overkill for your current monitor.

You don't actually need to upgrade anything in my opinion. Nice rig

2 of those to go either side of my P2250 and set up eyefinity and get rid of my 19" ACER monitor.

I'm liking the enthusiasm.

Would the 6970 and rest of rig be OK with eyefinity? Running games like BC2, left4dead, crysis2, DeadSpace2 etc?

What if the monitors heights dont line up? yes they are a inch smaller, but if the bottom of the screens image starts at a different height that has got to be annoying, I dont think the stands are height adjustable

so the image has a step in it in the middle?

Yeah that would bug the hell outta me. Hence why I think it's best to get 3 identical monitors but the P2250 is no longer stocked at OcUK and it's so expensive compared to the P2450.

Maybe the Blackwidow Ultimate would make me happy?

or

2x Samsung BX2235 21.5" Widescreen LED Monitor= £275

go for the monitors imo the ssd is a waste of money.

I'd go for the monitors, or a super quality monitor that does either 120Hz or 2560x1600. A single 6970 is going to waste in your system, never mind two.

Monitors of different sizes etc would rive me absolutely INSANE!

SSD prices are a joke atm, and you've already got one
