WANTING QUIET CASE FANS

Hi, Folks i'm looking for some 120mm case fans coupled with me megahelems in push-pull although i need 2 fans with one at 120x38m 120mx25 one of each. At the moment i'm useing delta fans 4000rpm with a fan controller but even at the lowest setting its still to loud! Thanks in advance. dan
 
For some reason I found the Vipers to be even more noisy than the corsair H50 fan that I was initially using. At idle it isn't bad but just gaming it is very loud.
 
Pretty hard to work out what you're on about. Do you mean two fans to attach to your heatsink? If so you don't want a 38mm and a 25mm, as the 25mm one wont improve temperatures and will probably be killed by the 38mm one.

If you want fans to attach to your case, you don't want 38mm thick ones as that would be mental.

If noise is an issue, you want a single fan on the heatsink, preferably an undervolted 38mm san ace. Temperatures will be worse than the two 4k deltas.
 
On my megahalems I use 2 Apache Blacks and for my case (CM-690 II Adv.) I use 3 x 140mm Fractals and 1 x 120mm Fractal.

i have a 25mm one on my ram side because 38mm wont fit with the ram being in the way and a 38mm on the other side what do you suggest then ? attched to my heatsink yes.
 
I've used Akasa Ambers for the past god knows how long.
Think they've been with me for my last 3 builds lol

Smokes have similar specs and are a tad cheper ladt time I looked.

Those are my favourite by far, keeps my Barum very cool and are very quiet. I've heard good things about the Akasa Apache fans as well.

You can have quiet, or you can have low temperatures. You can't have both without spending a small fortune on water cooling.
 
There is a Members Market but you need a certain amount of posts before you get in there. I canne remember the amount tho... yup im useless!
