New company website, thoughts?

Here's what the page looks like when removing most of the "width:" declarations. Not too bad considering that was all. :)

I also notice that the naming of your css classes is "breaking the rules". Lots of "margin-bottom20px" type naming. I think the oddest was "span-18" which only had "width: 560px".

Agree with the service buttons being out of place, it'd look a lot, lot neater if they were in line with the horizontal bar. Other than that, I really like the site!

I really like the top segment of the page (top nav, and full width scroller - some of the graphics used are really nice), but I can't say I'm a fan of the rest. There's a fair few bugs too from a quick click around, most noticeably the gradients on the 'roll down' elements (Web Design, Graphic Design, Branding) don't match with the rest of the bar, and also jut out (though I don't know if the 'jut' is intentional). The main page is far too busy IMO, and the carousel rotates/switches far too quickly - there's no time to digest what it's showing.

As I say, some really nice elements (particularly like the tractor image as silly as that sounds :p) - but some other things let it down.

really like it, but imo it's a very nearly out of style. what i mean by that is this design 2 years ago was really great and fresh, now to me it's getting old and will soon be an out of date style. still a good design just no longer unique.

Yeah, I'd agree with this. There are a lot of sites that use this layout.

Looks really good!

Although I dislike the Three service buttons.

Quite a few errors with validation but I think it's probably one or two which are then causing a cascade.

hehe I knew someone would spot this :p couple of bits we are still working on and wanted to hit the validation all in one go

Apart from the gradients on the buttons (which as above was intended, though due to the reception they have got I might see what the design team reckons about redoing them :p), what else is buggy?

The carousel can be paused by hovering the mouse over, and can be navigated by the bullets at the bottom or the arrows on either side :)

Due to the feedback regarding the 3 main buttons on the homepage, we have altered the design a bit :)

Better, but I still think their gradient should match that of the background bar, OR be significantly different for it to not look like a mistake.

hehe :) also validates now too

adding some polls and more social media'ey interaction on blogs too at some point

Looks good but I did prefer the previous design! Much more unique and less blog like. Congrats though as it looks much much better than a lot of the tripe out there.
