How to mount X-530s

They're the exact same mounts as these -

Is it a matter of sticking a screw in the wall or are there special mounts I need to get?

I have the same, as far as im aware its just a screw in the wall lol, not very good speakers, i dont like mine

Yup screw in the wall and then they should just 'hang' on. They can be twisted on the stand to project better too.

haz_pro - how come you don't like them? I was thoroughly impressed with them as a budget 5.1 set up.

Think I'll give it a shot, can always use wall filler if I need to

I think they're pretty damn amazing since I got them new for £35, there again I used some £15 altec lansings for most of my life before these

I dont like them for a couple of reasons, one being that even on lowest, the base is still to much for me, especially if watching when people are asleep, and two, the place the bass control knob is situated annoys me!

However thinking about it, i got mine for about 40, so i guess i wouldnt get any better for the money really!

does yours produce true 5.1 ? i found out recently that the x540's which i have are 5.0 as the centre and sub channel is mixed
