Their latest project to bring everything onto the net. Very impressive results as you can look around a lot of the famous galleries and select works of art have been scanned to Gigapixel level!

Its amazing really when you think about it. When I used to watch Star Trek the next generation 15 years or so ago they used to be able to pull up all sorts of data on the computers from the past etc. I used to wonder how that would ever happen but here we are now with google street view, maps, books art etc all online and easily accessible. Where does it end?

Hmmm the 'street view' isn't great of the museums, hopefully they improve the image quality and expand it some more in the future. But still looking at individual pieces is amazing.

It's not meant to be high res That's why individual click through are there for high res!
