iTunes freezes when I sync iPhone 4

Hi there,
Have a rather random and bizarre problem that has only started today.
When I connect my iPhone it automatically starts syncing and does it fine.. and then it is about to finish and iTunes stops responding.. any ideas guys?

Windows? Might have more luck in the other forum if so.

Or do you have a Mac in addition to that PC in your sig?

tried an un-install and re-install of itunes ?

have you got the latest version ?

yes, I have done that once and it didn't work. Just done it for a second time and it seems to be working well again
