Hitachi Capital question

So I applied for the 'Buy now pay 12 months later' Finance option last night.

Got refused the first time, tried again because of a typo and then got told I would get e-mailed if I get accepted.

Just wondering how long it takes for a reply?

Its not a big amount, just 340 pound.

That's if you dont pay back within the 12 months for the amount that is owed + 29pound administration fee.

If I fail to pay after the 12 months is over I have to do the 29.9% APR for 36 months.

lol at taking finance for £340. if you cant even afford 300 odd pounds maybe you shouldnt be getting it.

im a student and i have no problem paying £900 in one go for my Canon L lens. and that was with all my own money

Ummm I dont need your opinion I just want my question answered.

Well I am 16 and I have most of the money now but I don't get payed until next month and I don't want to miss the GTX 480 offer, I will only be losing 29 pound for the administration fee...

Now is there an answer for my question or does it vary for each individual?

so your dad can't even afford 300 pounds? dear god. loan the money off your parents and then pay your parents back.

My mum prefers this option. Oh my dad could easily afford it but he's a tight git.

I have only used it once, I don't think it was Hitachi then though and it was accepted immediately.

I expect that if it hasn't been ok'ed within 24 hours, it isn't going to be.

And getting interest free credit is an OK thing to do as long as you repay it on time. Better to be earning you interest than someone else.

Ahh OK if I dont get an email by midnight I will cancel the order and see if I can borrow some money off my Father.

Yeah my point exactly! I wont be waiting for 12 months to pay it I will probably pay it back in like 2 months the latest...

I would say enjoy but start growing up.

Finance for graphics card is just plain ####ing retarded. Even if you were old enough for it.
