My new car

So your Corsa C - a car 10 years old at the very most - literally fell apart.

And you decided this meant what you needed to do was purchase another Vauxhall?

Have to say, old Vauxhalls are the ****ing pits.

My ex has bought an 04 Zafira (you know when you try to give someone car advice and they completely ignore you) and it's got knackered bushes, a slipping clutch (60,000 miles) and possibly a dodgy gearbox. (I don't know whether it's just a **** gearbox) And she's paid £3,300 for the privilege. Thankfully she's got a 2 year warranty.

Funnily enough, that was also bought from Evans Halshaw.

Worst car I have EVER driven.

least he got the 1.8 petrol that engine is fairly reliable.

Have a laugh at the "whats wrong" section of the honest john review. Got a spare hour to read it all ?

although i'd watch out for this:

On 1.8 petrol, when timing belt is replaced at 40k miles, tensioner, pulleys and waterpump need replacing too.

Thats going to be a nasty bill in 18 months time. Best get saving !

Not really. 300 maybe?

I maintain that he could have done a lot worse than this. What else would you buy with at least 120bhp on an 07?

Going into this from what i am used to driving, it feels awesome.!
Both my old cars slammed to the ground on coilovers, one a 1998 saxo with 111k ()on the clock, and my corsa with the head gasket, engine mounts, driveshafts and piston rings needing done :p

Dont start slamming this one, they look alright as they are :)

I cant think of a single other car that he could have bought that had 120bhp on an 07 and was silver and was a Vectra. Definately the best with those criteria in mind.

Enjoy :)

My Vectra Estate just had 3 new tyres today and drives quite well now!! :D

One thing I hate about mine is the headlights, seem so dim when driving at night, think I may invest in some new bulbs.
