Evening folks!
My trusty SE C902 has finally given up the ghost - it's been playing up the last couple of weeks and now seems to have finally seen the end of its days.
Never had a contract before - always been a Pay & Go customer (Only with Vodafone and O2 though). Got the C902 in August 2008, so has served me well and has been through quite a few experiences untarnished - most memorably probably being V Festival last Summer? Only phone out of myself and 12 mates that didn't die as a direct result.
Anyway, been using a Simplicity tariff through O2 for the last year or so - unlimited texts and net usage for £10 a month - which has been absolutely brilliant, literally perfect for me. But now that the phone has died, it seems I might as well get a contract sorted as I'd rather not have to fork out a couple of hundred pounds right now with there being some other things I want/need to buy.
So, on with the show...
What phone would you recommend? Any tariffs that are particularly good would also be appreciated. Phone would be used for the obvious texts, calls, net usage (probably highest priority), and listening to music / watching videos. In terms of tariffs etc, been mainly looking at O2 ones as I can get some good deals through work, so would prefer to try and stick to them if possible, unless of course there is a deal "not-to-be-missed" elsewhere. Texts + Net usage are my highest priorities, calls I don't actually make THAT often. Decent audio would also be a huge plus!!
As for phones, I've looked at the HTC Wildfire a while ago in a 3 store, seemed quite nice; as did the Desire and Desire HD - not sure whether the latter is widely available on O2 or not? Their website isn't the greatest
Any other phones worth a good look at?
Thanks for any help, it's greatly appreciated
