Turrican 2 intro music

thats Amiga mate, not speccy ;)

I think you'll find he meant that it blew him away after he got an Amiga after previously owning a Spectrum ;)

Might have to agree with the OP though. For me the Turrican 2 soundtrack is possibly my personal Amiga favourite.

I think you'll find Atari ST ruled in music synthesis.

I had Xenon 2 on the ST. Unfortunately that 20 odd sec loop in the youtube vid was all there was to it, even in-game, which got really annoying as you can imagine. My mate had it on the Amiga and it featured a full length soundtrack which he constantly brought to my attention :/

Is there a way of editing all this great music with something like soundtracker?

Well, I just had to find out how to go about editing something like turrican music and found myself installing winuae, then the 1.3 workbench and the tmfx app chris huelsbeck developed for the turrican games. It's fascinating how he managed to make all that great music using something as ugly as tmfx. It's good fun tho, messing with the tunes!

No music from R-type?

Heathens.

No Rocket Ranger?

Or Space Hulk?

I cant believe nobody has remembered the Music from Space Hulk.

I used to like this because if the voice samples. No idea if taken from "Aliens" film or just imitations.

Only listen to first 1:20 of it, as gameplay footage uses System Shock 2 music.
