Does anyone have any input on performance increase or loss from changing from antec1200 to an 800d
The antec is a very good cooling case but I'm wondering how it would compare to corsairs offering

Any info welcomed
 
Antec cases are some of the best in the marketplace for cooling. 300 is awesome and 900 too. Airflow through them is very good indeed. Antec would be my choice.
 
Antec 1200 is very very heavy and not very quiet at all as for the cooling I switched from the 1200 to a HAF932 (not the X) and the HAF cooled my components better. But hand on heart I can say if its air cooling your after the 1200 will beat the 800D hands down, the 800D isnt a very good air cooling case but its a brilliant watercooling case. There are better air cooling cases out there than the antecs they could be even better if you replaced the 1200 fans the tricool fans are pretty pants.
 
Also, you have to have the right fans too. Sometimes, a stock fans is not always the best
 
FT02 is brilliant air cooling, touch expensive though. Totally worth the money though!

Considering selling mine, and getting the 902 though, something a bit smaller
 
Why would you take a step backwards with the 900? The 1200 has better cooling than the 900 even the 902 is better as it has filters. The problem with the 900 is the lack of room and the filters its a mare to keep clean. Also once again fitted with tricool fans which are pants tbh.
