BB 9300 VS Nokia e72

i was offered to choose between these 2 phones, before the android brigade storms in

this is a company phone - i already own a wildfire. I do like the looks of the e72 but the fact that it runs on symbian is a huge disadvantage...despite it looks the better phone at least on paper. Any help would be appreciated

blackberry, i had an e72 for a week before demanding my employers gave me a phone that didnt break every 10 seconds (crashed about 3 times a day)

Blackberry no question...9300 curve is a great little handset...in fact i bought my fiancee one for her bday last month...she had the old 9000 Bold and she loves it...its a great handset and you can now install OS6 onto it ie the new Blackberry OS, which is miles better than the old OS5.

got it for 180 quid brand new, i think its miles better than the 9300...

definitely, just get os6 on it

thread is in here somewhere, makes it much nicer. Not a bad handset for £180, not my personal choice but it's alreet.

Better handset than the 9300 by miles....i miss my 9700 which i ditched for the 9800 torch, which is pretty good but not that great. £180 is a damn good price, i sold mine for £250 back in nov.

But as tom said, get OS6 put onto it...i put OS6 on my 9700 before i sold it and i found it much better.

Hopefully this yr RIM will be releasing the Torch 2 which will have much much beefier specs than the 9800 has now ie 1.2gz cpu and 700 odd mb of RAM according to the rumour mill....theres the new Bold which is a touchscreen and keyboard...codenamed the Magnum/dakota...will have a form factor like the old 9000 Bold....again will have much beefier specs and its one that im definitely keeping my eye out for. Hopefully end of this yr both the new torch and the magnum/dakota will be out.

afaik OS6 isnt officially out for the bold, besides i am trying to learn its basic functions (BIS just activated btw)

one thing for sure , i am so glad to be using a keyboard again

It doesnt need to be officially released...you can install leaked/beta versions of OS6...theres no real difference between leaked and official.

OS6 v380 HAS been officially released for the 9700 Bold, but not in the UK.. I'm running v448 on mine!, runs sweet as a nut!!!...

Plus the 'WebKit' browser in OS6 is sooooo much better than the old BlackBerry browser in OS5...
