does not really show a lot, but would indicate it has a strong LED flash :D

rumoured features
dual-core Orion CPU
1080P HD video recording
NFC
1gb ram
32gb inbult

i feel sorry for the GalaxyS owners as updates look like being shelved

Look at us X10 owners - nothing past 2.1 but that hasn't stopped a near full version of 2.2 coming out and 2.3 is not far off :). Where are these rumoured specs from?

What annoys me about all of these great specs, is battery life! Are any of these companies putting enough effort to address it? Apple seemed to do a pretty good job for the iP4. We are told that having a dual core solution will mean the CPU will do less work but has this been seen in the real world?

Don't O2 customers get a chance to upgrade their phones after a year :D?

well in two weeks all the new phones will be announced, Motorola have already mentioned there phone has a much high capacity battery, and hopefully the others will follow suit

I've just sold my Galaxy S for £240 while i can still get good cash for it, currently using a Samsung C3050.

I've now got £500 put aside for one of these dualcore androids when released.

Once these new mobiles are on the market resale value of the current single core Android mobiles will drop like a stone.

That's around the going price of them now between £230 & £260 unfortunately.

EDIT

So if your thinking of upgraded to one of the new ones, then it would be better to sell it now than later
because come Spring you be lucky to get £150 for it.

This is the way the 2nd hand market going with top Android mobiles.

End of the year we be hearing about quadcore Androids with Tegra 3 ect ect.

Nope :(

But i buy my mobiles sim free, and just get a sim contract as it works out cheaper in the long run, than being stuck to a 24 month contract which your also paying for the mobile.

You reckon? that would be sweet. If that was the case I would get one and a gifgaff sim, but I can;t see them falling that much.
Failing that hopefully they'll have a android phone+tablet offer/contract.

the spec looks crud for this

I must admit that I was very skeptical of this morning’s Samsung GT-i9003 rumors, simply because they involved a Galaxy S successor with a Super LCD display. This seemed suspicious to me because Samsung has spent a lot of time hyping up Super AMOLED, but it turns out the rumors are true – the Galaxy SL, or the i9003, is now official.
Besides the addition of the aforementioned Super Clear LCD screen, the SL differentiates itself with a 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 CPU; the original Galaxy S devices were powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 "Hummingbird" processor. The phone will also ship with Android 2.2, 16 GB of internal storage, and a 1650 mAh battery (the GT-i9000 had a 1500 mAh unit) – all in a 9.9mm frame (the i9000′s thickness was 10.59mm).

i just buy and sell, properly learning towards the LG at the min, but depends on other release dates

A Certain Jersey Store has the LG Star Optimus 2X Sim free for pre order at £469 release date 18th of march, im very tempted to order. :)

wow i did not see that! im temped too, was thinking of starting a thread... i guess it would be silly to order now with the world mobile conference in 2 weeks, could be some real stunners unveiled

thanks for the heads up, i could well be doing that!

edit wtf - why ship with 2.2 - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

2.3 is coming, not long after launch so i wouldn't worry to much if you get the LG.

Tbh all the top android mobile will have similar features this time around.

Im 98% sure i will get the LG, with it being the first out.

Lol im already missing my Galaxy S, there not much you can do with a Samsung C3050 apart from make calls & text :(
