which one! the price difference is huge but would i get more performance out of the KFA2? so is spending an extra £200 really worth it?

Simple - Asus GTX480 + Gelid Icy Vision after market cooler.

Much cheaper and same performance.
 
yer im not too keen on installing a third party cooler, i think i might go with the KFA2 even if it is more expensive i do get 3 fans, after market PCB, overclocked, and a warranty

Are you referring to a KFA2 GTX 480 which is £200 more expensive than the ASUS GTX 480 which is currently on offer? If you are, you would be crazy to spend £400 on a GTX 480 when you can get a GTX 580 for around about that price. :)

KFA2 GTX480 anarchy edition, i can get one for £337

my shopping list is:
  • GTX480
  • Orange san fran
  • new 700W+ psu

budget is £540

a last gen card that can handle all games at full spec? if i wait for the new ones then i will wait for the newer one after that and the newer one after that if you get me? there will always be something better so im getting the most i can at the moment?

There is NO reason to buy the KFA2 at £337 whilst OcUK are doing the Asus at £195!
