The bits I have highlighted are the most important issues to the person buying these.

The colour temp is a very harsh blueish light, the colour rendering is poor and they have a very low illumination angle.

Not too sure on how the control gear will help save on losses seeing as the ballast is the part with the most losses which will still be in uses without the starter.

Then there is the PFC capacitor in florry fittings which will now be throwing the PF well out and bumping up the power used.

I.E claims for the 2ft florry lamp are total rubbish regarding "energy saving"

Oh and "energy saving" lamps (like the ones you replace your standard bc lamps with) are actualy compact florry tubes. Fluorescent lamps are rather energy efficent as they are and I believe these LED lamps can only consume more energy than a standard tube.

Engine is something stupid like a turbo charged V10 6 litre.

And look at the size of those rear wheels :eek:

They have got to be 24" or even 26"

They should just let G-Power (who sell pretuned BMWs) handle the engine, they already have a 231MPH M5 and M6, and that's from a car weighing several hundred KG more so imagine the same engine in this M10 :D

We've just had our kitchen done and went for LED spotlights. We have 13 spotlights and each is 5W so 65w total. Halogen spots are 40 or 60w each so that would be 780w.
I use it to offset the T5 lighting for my fish tank as an LED upgrade for a marine tank is a fair cost.
