Im trying to think of a name for my online portfolio and preferably the website address of the name you have chosen. Ive previously just had Simon 3D Artist but im trying to get more of a theme to my website than just my name.

Ive decided im going for a Top Secret theme if that makes any sence (Classified, Authorised Personel Only that kinda thing) so as an example of what im looking for is :-

"Top Secret Designs - Online Portfolio for Simon"

My mind is just completly blank. I cant even think of other word that are to do with "Top Secret"

Any ideas would be brilliant! :)

Hey Sime, would you be making this site in the hope to gain professional work?

Because if you are although it's nice for companies to see something different they tend not to enjoy hacking their way through a theme which may have extra unnecessary menus and graphics before they actually get to see your raw work.

Check out mine if you like (its in my sig), I tried to keep it simple although the site hasn't been updated in about one and half years :p

The first thing that came to my mind when thinking about top secret and classified was secret service's like James Bond. You could play on the "Double-0" designation with something like Double-0-Nine Design. So 009design.com... But then i googled it and it turns out someone else had already thought of it. However nothing under 009-design has been claimed.

I second this, nothing more annoying that pointless splash screens and naff navigation. If its professional, keep it professional for your target audience. When portfolios go round at my work and the website is a total mess they usually don't get asked to come in.

/edit really need to update mine, over 3 years since I have :s

If you are looking to get work as a VFX artist at a company... rather than trying to be your own company doing VFX work, I'd say stick with your current design. If you want to use a different domain, either go for your name or use something that doesn't sound ridiculous.

Most companies will probably ask for you to send a Showreel rather than looking at your website.

Ok, well I would suggest finding something meaningful to you, this will make the branding process much easier.

Personally I would stick with your name and spend more time on the web design.
