Pretty much the sole reason Im buying it for :D. Zero interest really in the competitive stuff, just let me get a nice car and Im happy as larry...

Nice distraction from the normal games I play that dont usually help my mood :p

hmm, to order from simplygames now or wait for my shopto arrival...or buy both and use the shopto codes and sell it at a loss (At the end of the day I can't see me losing the £8+ the casino would cost otherwise..)
 
Just had my first proper go, done the first licence (C4), and I like it. Got Demon's Souls today so I have been playing that since I got home from work. Shall have a good crack at it tomorrow after work. Also getting a new TV on Friday so looking forward to seeing it on a bigger screen.

Only problem with having had the PS3 for about 3 weeks now is I have quite a few games to get through and only completed one so far (Uncharted 2).

Need to get a headset.

Even though I've cancelled my play.com order I am still hoping they accidentally send me my codes :D
 
Is the PS3 version if anyone has played it, and seems some of you have got the game already suffering with the dreaded screen tearing?

I played TDU 1 on the PC but do prefer racing games in console, just wondering if this is another Gt5 screen tear feast..
 
I've just played through the 1st license, championship and now onto the off road license and I think its great. The graphics are good, the handling is decent, if arcady, and most importantly it got something GT5 is missing...its FUN to play.

I've seen no tearing and only the very (once on one lap) occasional popup when off roading where the skyline changes.
 
Excellent - TDU was actually quite a decent game on the PC and if this is just more of the same but now on PS3 then sounds good to me, I'm a sucker for console racing games..

oohhhhh, so tempted but a bit skint, but i've been waiting almost a year for this to finally come out, i have to order it...no i ca....yes, do ittttt!!!

I'm enjoying it. It's a better foil to GT5 that Hot Pursuit turned out to be (I still like Hot Pursuit but prefer TDU2). I shall be playing TDU2 today and tomorrow (new LED TV tomorrow :D) and have a play with Demon's Souls next week.
 
I never played TDU1 so can't compare but I find it a lot of fun and a nice change from the seriousness of GT5.
 
I for one can't wait to get my copy. I loved TDU1 a lot and just love the freedom of it. Hope the second is just as good :)
 
How are you guys playing it when its not released til next friday? Do you know someone in the trade or have preview copies?
