Sorry I'm just going from what the person I quoted said "the counter protest's plan is to stop them at the train station" Which sounds like the Counter protesters are looking for a bit of a scrap.

Well, I have witnessed the opposite.

Although as a caveat, England has a problem with demonstrations and violence.

One that is not generally shared in Scotland.

We can do it a little bit more civilized.

The UAF may be numpties in the way they go about things sometimes but on a philosophical level I'd be much happier supporting almost anything against facism than vice versa.

However even in the unlikely event I had any reason to want to go to Luton I think I'd be giving it a miss that day. Nothing is going to get sorted for the better with two groups squaring off as seems likely here.

Personally I think that the EDL is full of useful idiots just like the UAF.

If they have problems with Islam they should be going after the ones who let it in.

I do like the fact that by looking at any picture ever taken of the EDL shows nothing but hooded yobs in football shirts and baseball caps causing trouble.

Yet they wonder why people dislike them.

The EDL is a gang, it's not a political group, it's a gang of racist, facist yobs who are too thick to understand what they are doing is wrong.

More of them certainly get arrested for no reason and then get let off at a later time with no charge. It might be why they are so hostile towards the police.

As for actual violence, not just being "worse"... have a look on youtube, there's never ending videos of violence from the EDL.

lol I always see darkstaruk bashing Muslims. Honestly, Muslims don't hate Jews, no where in the Quran it states to hate jews, maybe Arabs yes but not Muslims. I'm a Muslim, I don't hate Jews, my best friend is actually a Jew. I see darkstaruk always giving statements about religion even though he fails to provide a single quote from the quran or any other religious scripture to back up his claim. No offence to Darkstaruk but its getting a bit annoying.

And who's doing the looting? Because known looters were kicked out or just not allowed into liberation square. For the most part it's not the anti-government protesters, it's the police and opportunists.

EDL or whatever the current acronym for ex BNP, Combat 18, NF, Millwall Supporters Club and so on is, are just organisations of people who like to march about causing trouble, inciting hatred and violence, all the same things most of them got up to anyway on a Saturday Afternoon after the local football match anyway, only now they have decided that they can attempt to justify it as Patriotism and Defending the UK against Islamists...
