Newly announces MMORPG - Earthrise

looks nice, but...is it just me or does the girl on the banner look EXACTLY like the girl from Tabula Rasa? (except hair colour)

Looks and sounds very promising indeed.

Seems like a clone of Neocron to me, but hopefully they can do a better job

It states in the info that it will use a skill based advancement system & that your chr will still advance when you are offline. Sounds like they are using a system similar to Eve Online :)

lol was looking were to download it last night half asleep and noticed today that it will be released 2009 loled at my self

Holy thread revival ! Looks like this is out today, anyone taken the plunge ? really fancy a sci-fi based mmo.

Is pretty expensive to buy direct from there site, ~£43 for the digital download, although I think you can get a boxed copy.

by looking at the forums the game is crap stay well clear :D

It's a bit like an early alpha version of Tabula Rasa. It's out is it? Was using the beta last week thought it was early days lol. oh dear.

This has been in development for years, had great potential but last I looked in alpha stage it'd gone down bank. It was originally going to be FPS style, with twitch gaming in an mmo. Now it's a simple target and press skill 3rd person MMO like all the rest, only with guns instead of spells, and even then the gameplay looked slow and clunky.

It looks very, very bad in my opinion, check the latest gameplay videos.
For the price it's selling at, it's daylight robbery. It's like Tabula Rasa but worse, that means a hell of a lot.

I'm very dissapointed with this, I admit I haven't kept up to date with what's what or was I in the beta but I thought this was gonna be really good when it first came about :(

Don't buy it, not only are they charging an obscene amount for it in the EU, it's apparently completely broken, many complaints on the forums, and a lot of people just charging back their credit cards.
