Halo 1 remake coming in 2011

I've got mixed feelings about it to be honest. A graphic update can't hurt and added online co-op will be nice too, but it's being handled by some studio I've never heard of who might try to fix things that weren't broken in the first place.

Wonder if the MP will just be halo 1 or be updated to what halo MP is now? Could be interersting. I enjoyed Halo 1 the most out of the 3 Halo games I played. They should put out Halo 1,2 and 3 on blu-r... oh wait.

I hope this is done right. First game with a Halo reach overhaul. Would be great. Although I'm aware its not using the reach engine, which is a shame. But hey maybe they come up with something that works great anyways

I really don't see the need to remake it. It still plays really well. The only thing they can do is update the graphics which would just make this Halo HD.

The original halo was far from generic. Maybe by modern standards it could be considered one of many. But No, Giving the original that tag is just plain wrong

If you've never heard of them, how do you know that they're b-rate? On top of that, surely if we follow your logic, all "Indie" games must be crap too?

I can't help but think it's too soon to remake a Halo game
