I know I am going to get stick for this but oh well :D

it was a free donation, free road tax and the main reason for getting it was the £500 insurance,
compared to the £5000 i was getting on ANYTHING, OK it needs a bit of welding done to get it safe and through an MOT but nothing i cant handle

I always promised myself one of these for my first car. Instead I ended up with a 306 DTurbo....you're living the dream right there! :D

I'm guessing by the forest of algae on the windscreen its been sat for sometime :)
Thats a good first car if its in good nic, get it up to scratch and it will be worth a few bob!

Thanks guys!

well yeah, lizardking you are right, it sat on someone's drive for 10 years

had to do some welding on it to make it safe again!, but its not going to be a show car just one to get me about :)

For free you can't really argue! Get it solid underneath (check those heater channels!), stick electronic ignition and a rebuilt carb on it and enjoy......

Uncle had a built 1600 in his 1303, went rather well.

yeah i do need to think about doing something engine wise, i know it wont keep up with traffic but we shall see, we got a load of parts for it. I replaced both heater channels replaced, 1/4 pan on passenger side both front 1/4 (where the wings are) replaced

shes as good as new, going to scrape the moss off the windscreen and leave it as is!
