Setting to local only seems to have done the trick and I'm joining games now, so thanks for that tip.

What is the best all round setup to use? I mainly play Team deathmatch, I I've played with a Run n Gun setup for quite a while now, but I've recently switched back to my main setup.

I'm currently using

FAMAS (red dot sight)
Strela-3

Semtex, concussion, claymore.

Hardline, sleight of hand and second chance.

Could I change / tweak anything? I'm currently only level 35.

Use a Silencer, if you need a red dot sight then use warlord, but not being seen on the radar makes so much difference.

Don't know what's going on there. I'm finding it hard to stay in a server, it keeps migrating then dropping the connection.

Tom D sorry mate that class makes no sense. I'm probably going to get abuse. As apparently I have such a big ego.

I don't know what you attend to achieve. But it's just seems like a horrid setup.

2nd chance pro is ok. But how many kills do you get using it?

Famas and a red dot? Don't you like the iron sight? I would be using extended mags. As famas chews bullets.

Rocket launcher as secondary weapon? How many kills do you get with that? Ie spy planes etc.

Sleigh of hand? If ya camping. Then you don't need it. If ya run and gun use steady aim

Concusion pants mate. Decoys are easy way to get kills

If you on 360 let me have a look at ya class in use.

I run a decent KDR so can help if you want

I have sleight of hand on all my classes tbh, think it's comfortably the best perk in the game.

I'm pants on COD and hardly ever play it so I'm still learning. Thanks for the advice about the class setup however I feel lost in it all. I don't really know which way to go with my class now as so far it seems I've done everything wrong.

Isn't their one solid, all rounder when it comes to guns/perks etc?

I hate being vulnerable when reloading. and I don't like steady aim - i rarely fire from the hip.

Hardline/ghost
Warlord or steady aim and get rid of grip
Grenades
Decoys
Claymore or motion sensor

Secondary. Secret pistol with rapid fire attatchment. But you should be picking up ANY weapon as secondary.

3rd perk. Hacker if you run or marathon. Ninja is crap. Unless pro

Kill streaks. Should be spy plane counter spy chopper gunner. Easy to get it with them.

You should fire a split second before aiming. While drop shooting and moving

Thanks for that. That's quite similar to the setup I very first used, I just wanted a change from the AK74U but I will give this a try with the added changes and hopefully I'll get better.

Still can't join any games, getting disconnected from Xbox live every 15 mins or so.

At4s are what everyone should have. Spy planes and any choppers go down as soon as they appear on map. don't really see the point of pistols.

Sleight of hand pro with dual mags is far too good to go without. The faster ADS helps with one on ones too

What the he'll. Why is everyone talking about ADS lol I shoot first THEN AIM, if your in ADS mode you get knocked off course.

One on one. See enemy, crouch/prone, fire then aim!
