The lady in the OP has been run into the ground, the risk of dealing with unscrupulous corporations who's only direction is making profits and avoiding legal problems.

Generally speaking though of course the media is biased it's run by humans who are all biased.

The sad thing is most of us only notice when their bias disagrees with our own bias (hence the "lol daily fail" or "Grauniad" jibes).

I'm not even sure the story in the OP is true, it sounds like it is but I can't really know.

You can generally tell how bad a paper is by the amount of hypocrisy it has and the Mail has a lot. However, not everyone who writes for it is bad and they do have some unbiased articles.

I think there is just some bandwagon trend on OCUK to scour the Daily Mail to find things to make fun of due to lying or what have you. Never see any posted for other Tabloids which are the same.

The difference is most right-minded people accept that the rest of the tabloids post drivel and second-hand gossip, the Mail tries to separate itself from the rest of the tabloids as a respectable source of news, when it's anything but.
