Possible Test Drive Unlimited 2 information!

Is there much "on foot" in the game ? I was just about to order the game and spotted this, no way could I play without inverted views.

There only limited out of car time, primarily it's when you want to buy cars so it's not loads of time. There are a few other occasions but it's not loads. It's not a show stopper not being able to swap the axis by any means.

I don't get how to do a good start. My car seeems to get stuck in neutral for at least 1s at the start.

Depending on the car, I dial in between 3-5K rpm and when the revs drop as the tyres bite then give it full throttle. This worked with both my 370z and the Golf GTI

I never realised this was not an authentic driving simulation until I just read the disclaimer during loading. Thank god I saw it or I would have been driving like that for real.

I do sometimes see the floating checkpoint signs though.

This is the only one I've found so far and it sells several makes of car.

Why do NPC characters who want you to take their car for a service as they're too busy to, always seem to be in the middle of nowhere?

Drug labs. That's why.

Just to let you know that the Ferrari 458 Italia isnt in the X360 version due to licensing

Hey Everyone,

This is confirmed. The Ferrari 458 will not be available in the Xbox version due to licensing restrictions beyond our control.

We're very sorry that this information wasn't published earlier, and agree that it should have been published at the same time the official car list went live. Unfortunately there was an internal miscommunication and this information didn't make it to the public as quickly as we would have preferred.

As we appreciate our fans on all platforms equally, we've made sure to even things out between the platforms. I'll be posting the specifics as soon as I have them. Target ETA is Monday (note: some players have posted potential information on this already, but I have to wait until I get approval before I can post the official confirmation on this). Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Rest assured - even with these minor modifications to the car list, TDU2 will still be one of the best racing titles of all time. You can count on that! :)
Its seems it will be replaced by a Spyker but thats unconfirmed...

I kinda thought the same but more people seem to have the PS3 version currently (GMAN the SLS is deffo there :p) and Ive not seen anything raised by them on the TDU2 forums. The problem is that this seems to have been covered up by Atari/Eden and its only someone who owns the retail X360 version that starting asking about it that they eventually got the response above.

Im confused about why its a licensing issue on one platform though (Ive assumed the PC is ok too) but I guess that must mean that a X360 exclusive driving game must own the platform rights so I guess thats Forza or PGR

P.S. Can people confirm with early retail releases that they got the PAL UK version? Just seen a question about whether simplygames was selling a grey import Aus version and so why they got it in stock so early. Doubt it matters for anything but trade-ins...

Its definitely a European market copy, and with a PEGI symbol and English manual it looks pretty much like a British release to me
