Best CPU Cooler for P8P67 PRO?

Hi. As I mentioned elsewhere, I am close to finalising my new PC build. the only thing holding me back at the moment is the CPU Cooler. All of the good ones I see (Akasa Venom, Titan Fenrir EVO) are so big they obscure at least 2 of the RAM slots on normal motherboards, which means either only using 2 sticks of RAM, or getting low-profile RAM which limits my choices dramatically.

So my question is: Can someone recommend a good, quiet, CPU Cooler which won't obstruct the RAM slots in the P8P67 PRO

Thanks in advance.

I have a noctua d14 with the asus p8p67 deluxe and although it obscures 3 of the ram slots my g skill ripjaws fit underneath it with a bit of room to spare.
You wouldn't be able to fit the corsair vengance though I don't think. Saying that though, with the noctua you can move the fans up abit so any ram would fit, I bet if you moved the first fan up half a centimetre any ram would fit.
I'm running at 4.5ghz with a 2600k (HT enabled) @1.31v and its only at 58c at full load (25c idle) and been priming for hours. If you have that same settings on a 2500k full load (with no HT) you'd get temps of about 50c with the noctua.

Some coolers have the fans too close to the ram so even if the ram is in first when you try and put the cooler in you can't because the fans are too low down and the ram gets in the way.
The op wants to know a coolers where this doesn't happen.

Quick bump, because I went back to bed (this bloody cold won't shift!).
I don't expect to overclock my CPU massively, maybe to 4.0ghz, so I won't need some uber-cooling behemoth, in fact I would put noise above cooling.

So if someone could recommend a fairly low-profile cooler which is - above all else - quiet, that would be grand. I only need 2 of the RAM slots for now (2x 4gb sticks), but if I ever came to upgrade my RAM, I would have to buy a whole new CPU cooler to fit them in.

I tried looking at low-profile RAM sticks, but nearly every big manufacturer is sticking heatsinks on top of them nowadays, which I think would foul on the CPU cooler.

After reading this the best I can recommend you is definetely this:

I find it very strange that not many people face this problem.
Is it just that they don't want/need all 4 ram slots, or that they don't use big CPU coolers?

I have seen this one, the only problems are a) It doesn't have any reviews, and b) I don't know for certain if it's small enough.

It's essentially the baby version of the Venom which I originally had my eyes on.

I did check your link, and it didn't get very good reviews, but I was referring to Dr_Watson, who suggested a £80-odd water-cooled CPU cooler.

80 quid! Wow, that's a rip off. I don't live in the UK and just presummed that with the exchange rate it was around 50-60 quid max. I would get a H50 or H60 then, one of the only reasons I bought mine was to keep the CPU area nice and clear.
