Just caught wind of this on NASA's site and thought it was a pretty impressive thing in itself, that and the fact that the video felt like I was staring at the info screens while walking through a SciFi movie on board DS8 or through a ship's deck in an FPS game (AvP/Doom etc) 
Anyway, STEREO (Solar TErrestrial RElations Observatory) was launched in 2006 in an effort to see the entire Sun and help spot solar storms brewing on the other side long before they do from Earth.
