A good recon will be running with you whilst you charge into the mcom, dropping sense mines and getting ready to rig the surrounding area with C4.

all my time as recon i don't think i even have 4 gold stars on the mortar compared to over 2000 c4 kills :D

I'm also sick of the number of bad recons out there. I'd like to think that I play the recon role pretty well but when you see 3 of them grouped together a mile from anywhere it really infuriates me, especially on a recon limited server.

especially on a recon limited server.

If there is a recon limit only the worst camping snipers keeps the kit, a rushing recon will die fairly often and thus loses the kit a good camping sniper kills too many and gets killed in return and loses the kit, only those who never kill anything survive and they keep the kit till the end of the game.

If i end up on a recon limited server i either leave or if playing with others just sit back an camp get some practice in and i see no point dying because of poor admins.

Most of the people playing this game have no idea how to play.

Most players dont do basic stuff they don't spot, don't revive, dont' drop ammo or medkits, don't tracer armour or RPG/CG it once it is tracered, tank drivers drive off while you are repairing, engineers dont' get out to repair if you're the driver, drivers only decide to move away from a mortar strike once they have been hot 3 times and the tank is on 9 health.

BF3 could be the best game in the world but playing it with numpties will always make you rage quit.

I asked a guy for ammo tonight, I'd just killed the tank at the cost of most of my rockets. He was in a building and I kept spamming the Q key (well END in my case), he was looking at me and didn't drop any. So I shot him in the head to get his attention and asked again, still nothing. I asked in the chat window for ammo. Nothing. Head shotted him 3 more times and request through chat another 3 times before he dropped me some ammo.

Un ****ing believable.

See that far to often & indeed it is very annoying.

Unfortunately, i find i almost never get ammo when i'm an Engineer, but when i'm Recon or a Medic, i get like two around me.

This game is making me RageQuit today :mad::mad:

Battleforce UK, 90% of the enemy team were snipers joined another server some **** in a tank kept on riding off as i tried to repair him. Completely ignored my requests. I saw this guy behind me and i shot him at point blank range in the stomach with my rifle. He stabbed and killed me and he ran off

Also the usual requests for ammo/medic failing

hi guys can you clear something up for me.

when i or another tracer darts a vehicle, does the rocket launcher automatically lock on to it. or do you have to press a key for lock on?

can't seem to get it to track. and no i don't mean the launcher with the red box ( can't remember the name)

thanks

Keep it aimed at the red box for a few seconds and then when you see the distance you can shoot. Then a split second after that, aim straight up and fire if aimed at a tank behind cover.

There will be a red square on the screen, if you keep the crosshair of the rocket launcher over the square the distance will appear on the screen. Then fire. Not since your locked on you can fire it up in the air and the missile will hit the target.

I mostly play as assault, every opportunity i get ill dump ammo crates, when playing other classes it can be frustrating when your running low and the assault players totally blank your requests for a resupply.

Frustrating. Yeah.

IT MAKES YOU FEEL MURDEROUS.

Been looking around and issues similar to this seem to be related to an unstable oc, though this was prime blend stable for over 14 hours.
