was looking at this product bundle http://overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-056-OE

would this be enough or all i need to upgrade this piece of crap machine or would i need more items ??

tx 650 wat psu can this be/or is upgraded to a quad core not to sure bout that heard the affinity works very good for games especially since im attempting to use fraps on it ?

so it's a Corsair TX650 watt, that's good to hear, plenty of power from that.

not to sure I understand your second question part, are you referring too SLI? adding a second card to boost performance? that's perfectly possible with this.

according to the cpu support list for your motherboard it can take phenom x3's, some of the 95w phenom x4's and all the athlon 2 quad cores so that may be a cheaper upgrade path.

not to worried bout the money as long as its around or under 500 quid the second question is about assigning a certain program/application to a single core like playing a game on one core and all the other stuff on the other cores not really sure what to get but im after bundle so i think i wont need anything else hate to buy something only to realize i need another item for it to work properly not the first time ive done that lol

get an athlon II X4, and wait for a big upgrade if the new AMD cpu's are any good there will be a price drop on the new low end intel chips

The i5 bundle will be fine for what you're describing, can be done with any dual or quad core, that i5 is a very fast quad core.

like i said little confused of what i actually need to upgrade i think the bundles have everything i need don't need to be specific about the make or whats the best because i just need something that does the job like stulid linked which im considering buying once i get a new job lol also looking at the antec 902 v3 case looks nice since my old viper case is falling apart :( like the fan slots as-well

just missed that post redmint lol yea will prob buy that when i get a chance also on a side note does buying more ram like increasing from 4-8 gig of ram really make that much off a difference as my system at the moment lags a little on some high end games but tolerable and it doesn't look like my comp is using all of the ram i got just standard 4 gig ?

the lag on your system is 75% your CPU, you board will support the Athlon II x4 if you drop that in your should be fine.
8gb of ram is your choice there nothing that really need 8gb right now. 4gb should be fine
