Just got a Wii myself and I have already bought:

Metroid Prime Trilogy
Metroid: Other M
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
No More Heroes 2

I am planning on purchasing:

Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2
Red Steel 2
Monster Hunter Tri
Zelda the Skyward Sword

Had a gamecube in the past so played Resi 4 on that. If you have never played it though, add it to your list - great game!

I think that those titles mentioned above are some of the best games released on the Wii, so you cannot really go wrong with them.

Anything mario or zelda is a winner generally. Don't own a Wii, but mario party games were always a good laugh with 4 players.
