My current PC that I bought for £1250 here on overclockers is really getting on my nerves! Too many errors/problems/things causing me to re-install windows or contantly hit the reboot button. It no longer seems as amazing as it did summer 2008!
So I have 2 questions. Firstly, if I was to ebay my current PC, how much do you think it is worth?
Second question/request -
Please build me a system for around about £1000. Not really tight on the budget, although I only really spent £1250 last time because the GeForce 9800GX2 I bought with it was around ~£400 - £500 at the time!
I'm looking for an insanely fast system as I'll be a 3rd year university web design & digital media student. I often have plenty programs like browsers, itunes, photoshop, FTP programs open so want to be free from crashes etc.
I'm also a bit of a gamer, love a brand new game like call of duty to fully test out my graphics card, although I dont really want to spend over £200 alone on one like last time!
I also watch plenty films and blu-rays on my PC
I already have a full HD monitor and the samsung blu-ray player, and those badass 5.1 £250 speakers from logitech. Would like windows 7 home premium as XP just seems slow and virus prone now.
Thanks,
Mike
