The ram is ok. I'd change your SSD for this one though. You'll get faster writing times. I can personally recommend it to you. And if you wanna overclock your CPU you will want a cooler

keep the C300 it wastes a ocz with its fast read speeds.

The vertex 2 has much faster writing speed. The c300 has faster reading speed but the writing speed are quite low. If I were you I'd pick the vertex 2. But you should decide from what will you get more benefit according to what you're gonna use the pc for.

I just want it for the OS and fast loading of Photoshop et al and MS Office.

May I ask why you have got two disc drives? Also the motherboard will come with the SATA cables, so you can leave them out. I'm assuming you'll only be using it for general browsing as it looks like you'll be using the integrated GPU?

It's the only one that I really like the look of!

I promise when I start building my SB 2500k system ( as soon as I get this one built)...I'll look at getting a better case!

That is why I chose that one originally - if I was using the drive for writing, I'd get the one you suggest!
I use external drives for my data/file backup so the SSD is only for OS etc.
