Hey all,

Quick question. If I were to part exchange my car, would it be better to have more road tax left on it then not? Or better still, just take the road tax with me when I get rid of the car and get the money back on it. Reason being, tax is due for renewal in April. Will be part exchanging possibly in September, so do I either get 6 months and have 1 left on, or get 12 and have 7 left on it. Will I get more for the exchange If I have more tax left on it?

Also, what kinda price do you think would be resonable for a W reg Pug 206 LX with 62,000 on the clock?

Cheers

They give it you back when you drop the car off. You then have to send it back to the dvla to claim the money back.

I've just had to do it on my old car and and it took about 4-5 weeks in total.
