Android Market refunds

15 mins is a bit stingy, I could understand a day as it might take longer than 15mins to set up some apps...

It used to be 24 hours but was changed fairly recently. A lot of developers lobbied Google to alter it as customers were taking the mick, especially with games, where they'd buy the app, play it to completion in under a day and then ask for a refund.

Here's a little idea for ya... What I do is buy an app, then use appsaver to copy it to an installable .apk file on my sd card, then refund it and reinstall it from the saved .apk :)

That allows for testing without a time limit - after that time, if it's cack, you can delete it and you haven't lost anything. However, if you think it's a keeper, re-buy it to support the dev and get updates etc :)

There are some apps that need a license to use, they check the market to make sure you have permission to use them - in that case, just buy it and try it the old fashioned way lol
