China activist Chen Guangcheng 'under house arrest'

We need a new forum rule to dish out suspensions to people just posting links without any of their thoughts or comments on it.

They don't need to get suspensions ... some of them do contribute in other threads just do this sort of thing too. I'd just suspend their ability to create threads for a while for each infraction ...

I think you and a lot of other people in that other thread have read far too much into what Brian is saying.

Of course everyone on the forum thinks what happened to that little girl was awful, and of course everyone doesn't like this stupid business going on in China along with many other countries.

However, the simple fact is that there are probably thousands of disgusting and evil acts occurring every minute and as fairly civilised folk we obviously condemn it, but there's no point getting all up in arms about it because in reality, what can you do?
