UK uncut

It's just middle class students trying to find a cause to justify all the money their parents spent on then.

I'd imagine the combined tax that the protesters pay will be well below that of a single person in the #10 most paid employees of the banks.

its a free country they can protest about what they like, and after the shower of **** that was osbourne increasing the bank levy and the failing banks paying out millions in bonuses, why shouldnt we campaign against a corrupt system that makes the poor and middle classes pay for the mistakes of the rich??

Looks like a mix of the unemployed, students, anarchists and socialists who appear to blame the banks for all our ills and think that by occupying them they can do something about it. Although if you look at their site, they very carefully don’t let us know who they really are.

Maybe we should go out on the streets and protest about them not putting back anything of value into our society.

To be honest, UK Uncut isn't really an organization, just a tool for organizing nationwide demos. To that end, anybody who protests on a day posted by UK Uncut pretty much becomes a member. It's a sad world if you think the only people protesting about the cuts are middle class. At any rate, you really need to do more research, the support from the workers up and down the country has been huge.

Oh, and no, money should not exist ;)

as far as I can tell uncut is mostly middle class people, who clearly pay taxes and students who are the next generation of tax payers, how exactly is that not putting back into society , or are you of the view that everyone needs to do PPE and be a banker or a tory to contribute to society?

Except the fact the group are targeting Barclay's who to my knowledge were not bailed out by the government.

but they are still a bunch of greedy fat cats avoiding billions in taxes, that if paid would mean that we wouldnt be having this regime of shameful cuts, because of the so called "financial situation" = tory ideology to keep poor, poor and rich, rich

Barclays may not have been, but if their debtors were, then Barclays have clearly benefited. It was a sectoral bail out.

Do you have an ISA?

If so you're no different.

Legitimate tax avoidance is fine. Tax evasion is not.

UKUncut should be protesting outside HMRC for not closing the loopholes and laws that legitimise tax avoidance. Instead they harm businesses and the economy.

What do they want them to do? Send HMRC cheques for a tax bill that does not exist?

i look at it and think , "there's a middle class person actually making life worse for working class people".

it's almost like they don't understand that somebody has to be poor, for them to be middle class, which they clearly enjoy.

but the tory pigs currently in power are not just middle class, they are upper class, and they are squeezing the middle classes as much as the poor, its just the poor will suffer more as the middle classes have better means as they rely less on government services.

oh and for the record labour were no better, they also failed to regulate the banks sufficiently

Name me three Tory ministers who are upper class. Go.
