it was pants in the beta and most of the cars still handle like they have no downforce at high speeds.

ive put in an order with play anyway need something to tide me over until shift2 in march

sorry but playing it again tonight made me realise that the cack handling, exactly the same gameply from the first (which i played a lot). whats the point?
we all played this game years ago - a different island barely makes any difference.

uninstalled, waste of money.

basically the islands are divided into zones.. each zone will have 8 players at once.. so you don't see 100+ players driving in the same road causing traffic, crashes..

its not just 8 players in a Zone, its 8 players max who ever you pick up there could be 100 players in a zone but you only connect to a random 8 closest cars

8 players, randoms too sucks. It should have been increased a lot since tdu1 id have thought 30 at least. So much for the MMO part yet again.

Yeah true. That was one of the **** parts about TDU1. Seems they didn't listen at all and just did the same thing again.

totally disagree, what were you expecting a "sim"?

it's not cack, and it's better than the first one.

the game is about cruising around and having a laugh, not trying to do a GT5 etc and just try and Race.

Thats the kind of racing games I like where its just about cruising around lots of tracks with nice cars. Like Trackmania and Need for Speed games

I didnt like Dirt 2 or Racedriver Grid as much. I just remembered about Grid just now as I got out Trackmania Sunrise to reinstall, and have the CD for it in the box. I got Dirt 2 with my 5770s, and Grid + Trackmania Sunrise were about £12 each, plus a free trackmania game on steam.

Trackmania is awesomeness.

Dammit, the trackmania sunrise CD wont install :x

Ranked 4th overall on the slots in the casino now and 29th overall

The casino slots really are easy money. You always end up with a net gain. I just bet the maximum on the high stakes slots. Building up enough cash, then going to get the special suit items and try to get the Audi (although I might just buy it).

Really loving the game - even just driving around. Haven't even gotten to the second island yet.

If you read what I wrote you can clearly see that I had played the first extensively. Given that ,one would not be expecting a sim experience would they? Lol

I would find it hard pressed too say this was a better game than the first....its exactly the same just new land and given the generic nature of the environment this makes little difference to the overall experience.
There's only so much cruising around you can do, and after 6 hours Iv cruised till I can cruise no more and I certainly wasn't having a laugh when doing it, well actually the only thing I was laughing at was the dog**** controls, regressive graphics and a "been there done that years ago" sense of frustration.

I'll take it off ya hands then if you're giving it away due to it being that rubbish, I doubt I'm going to get a demo to play anyway
