carnt say about the gigabyte one but have the msi my self and it is the best peice of kit i have very well made and super quiet in compaired to the old asus gts250, not messed with over volting it yet just using afterburner up to 920MHz no probs.

I was about to ask the same question, I know the SOC is a non reference design board, better capacitors VRMs etc. I'm wondering is the OC model essentially the same card just that the SOC is binned to make sure it performs at those really high settings. Or are you giving up more than just the guaranteed higher frequency?

I'm still searching the web, surely someone has purchased the Gigabyte OC version, somewhere :(

Yeah regular Gigabyte OC model is nothing like the SoC - but its still a decent card, well made, decent cooling, etc.
