£800 small spec

Hi everyone, hope someone can help out.

Dad is looking to purchase new computer. He has a pentium4 shuttle at the moment so quite a few years old....

Will just need a base unit and a copy of windows 7 basic.

one requirement is that the case needs to have a similar footprint to a shuttle and quiet as it's a small desk it will sit on. Been looking at the lian-li pc-q08b and he's happy with the size.

secondly, he has also kitted out the room with a big tv and will be looking at using the system to stream films through the tv. would it require and other hardware?

Nice spec but remember it's not a modular power supply so it will make cable management very hard
 
I would struggle to better RJC's build although im not fussed on the board (Foxclown). Can we not get an Asus board or Gigabyte into that budget??

With the BeQuiet being a low wattage power supply there would be only a few cables to worry about, also as all the cables come out in one area sometimes they can be easier to organise than a modular with the cables be connected across the back of the PSU.

thanks guys. one thing i forgot to ask is about the cooling. would the stock coolers with the cpu's be adequate and fit inside the case or am I looking at something else.
