Firstly, it is 'allowed', not aloud.

I imagine her workplace is fed up with staff taking the **** with sickness, but they aren't allowed to tell people they aren't permitted sickness.

Sending a text is hardly harassment.

However, questioning someone's sickness record has to be done pretty carefully if you don't want to get in trouble.
