Hi chaps,
I've been over potholes before, but this time I decided to go back and do something about it as it was possible the nastiest scenario I've had with a pothole.
I was driving back at 8pm, there are no street lights on this section of road and I'd just brought my speed back up to 25-30mph after a rather large speedbump. I didn't see the first pothole until it was too late and by the time I realise what had happened, I was down the next.
The pic shows how close to the white line they are, so it's perfectly in line for my left wheels (far enough away from the curb which I don't cling to). As you can also see from the spacing, the front wheel went down the second pothole as the rear wheel went down the first pothole......leaving me to clench my buttocks/teeth and ground out on the road.
What's made this worse is that there are two.....hitting one wouldn't have done too much damage, but grounding 7cm+ down on both left wheels has made it worse. The tracking has been knocked out and it pulls to the left slightly, but the bottom of the car definitely made hard contact due to the ride height.
Do I have a claim? and should I get it checked out at the local stealers? I took it for a blast today, seems to be ok and after getting a quick look under it, just scrapes.. but the tracking is definitely out.

Really frustrated as I regularly dodge potholes (about 8-10) on the way to work, so hitting a double whammy is annoying. However the roads around Oxford are pretty terrible at the moment, hard on the dark backroads!
