Converse All Star sizing

im going to get a pair of converse allstars from an online store, but im wondering how these size.

my DC's are 8.5s and my Rifts are 8.5's,
does anyone know how all stars fit ? are they good comparable size or small or bigger than your normal size ?

All shoe companies are different, I hover between 9 and 10 in most things.

Go and try some on. Every single shoe shop on every single high street sells All Stars.

Alternatively, buy some nice trainers instead. Ho ho ho.

I wear 8.5 M&S shoes and All stars are the same size if that helps

I wear size 8 boots and shoes normally but find Converse size 9 fit me better. They're quite narrow shoes.

Maybe try on a pair in a high street store first.

Definitely bear in mind they're narrow. I had a pair before and I split them. Oddly low top 'one stars' were fine, but all stars split.

really really hate the way I can never tell if I'm a 9 or 10 in a shoe.
normal DMs I'm a 10, 14 eye ones I'm a 9!

I have just checked my All Stars and my previous 4 pairs of trainers.

All size 9.

Converse are usually slightly smaller than DC/Vans so get a half size smaller if possible. TBH i would just go to a shop and try some on, then order what you want online.

I'm a 15 but with converse all stars I'm a 14. This is from a shoe site...

Shoes fit big!
All Stars don't fit like traditional athletic shoes. All Stars fit long in length by almost 1/2 size or more. When in between sizes, size down.

I wear 7s normally and have All Stars in a 7. But I'm a girl and don't have particularly wide feet.

I'm usually an 11, but had to go 10s for these.

I feel like my feet have shrunk, I always used to be able to be pretty sure I was a 10 in everything, now I'm always a 9. I have no idea why! My existing size 10 shoes fit, but all the new shoes I buy are 9s!

At first it was 'oh I'm a 9 in Nikes' but it's not just nikes, it's adidas and puma and onitsukas and everything. Maybe it's just that brands that make exclusively skate shoes undersize, I dunno.
