Hey just brought myself one of these babies and just wondering if theres anything i should be weary of? that i should do like updating the BIOS?... i know about the chipset issue

the drivers on the disc are fine tbh, or rather they have been for me. you might find that the board won't run your ram at the correct speed, the 804 shipping BIOS seems to peg the ram at 1333 for some folk ( me included ), but it's easily solved by a flash to 1204. also, once you've flashed the BIOS, clear your cmos, as some folk report system instability if you don't clear the cmos after a flash.

ahh okay, ive heard that removing the CMOS chip is the best way... but does just using the mobo jumper do just as good?

Also whats the best way to flash a BIOS? i have heard using the windows utility is a no no
