Saw it once or twice in school, can't remember that much from it.

At the start, the bus driver is really angry with the kids about taking sweets etc on the bus.

One point in the film, all the kids go into a sweet shop and steal all the stock

Any ideas?

It had a low budget, Biker Grove type feel to it

It sounds like Our Day Out. Started out as a play by Willy Russell then the BBC made it into a film in the late 70s. A lot of schools in Scotland teach it for Standard Grade English.

I was going to say Willy Russell but couldn't remember the title. All I remember from that was this scouse kid trying to teach a parrot in the zoo to say "EV-ER-TON".

Education really is wasted on kids, there's probably a very deep and meaningful social commentary to this film but all me and my mates could do was laugh at the poor scousers ;)
