Not montpelier itself, but not far if you have a car.

I loved by the arches and always went to that place. Onion bhajis (actually really dry and crisp all the way through) and pathia recommended. Although haven't been there for about 2 years.

I had a look at that place but they don't seem to do a standard crappy curry...which was what I was after.
Went to Sheesh Mahol in the end which was acceptable.
