Also, will the 530W PSU be enough for this system?

Cummon, Stulid what do you think?

Swap that I7 For a I5 and use the spare cash on a better gpu, also personally i would get a cheaper case and spend the savings on a better psu or gpu!

Sorry, forgot to mention, the PC will be primarily used for Graphic Design, Photoshop etc and light gaming, so I thought that was a good compromise? No?

RTJ

Maybe get a less expensive case and a better graphics card with more VRAM. Considering the monitor you're getting.

Edit - Nvm if you're only doing light gaming.

The CPU is fine, for that, i remember the first thread, when we had the discussion about why 2 monitors, but for the little extra, why not heh?

Cheers guys.

Yeah stulid, not the worlds GREATEST monitors but should do the job.

I used to have a 27" mac so I was thinking one big screen but the two would work out better for my multitasking uses.

From the looks of it, it is a good spec list.

As Stulid has said, for about that kind of money for a GPU, the MSI 5850 is better. It might be a little more, but it is better than the GTX 460 768MB.

The i7 could be swapped out for an i5, but isn't needed. It isn't like the i7 is really expensive anyway.

The PSU should be enough, but doesn't give you much room for if you want to go SLI in the future I don't think. I might be wrong about that, and I'm sure if I am Stulid or someone will say otherwise, lol.

they will be fine, like you said in the previous thread, for what you want they will do a fine job.

so the only choice to make with this spec is which GPU?

Motherboard is useless for dual gpu's.

In gaming there is a small increase in performance, does the software being used take advantage of CUDA and with the extra memory o the carrd may assist with performance.

Yeah I dont think I will be upgrading for a while and by then will have money to change the setup allowing for SLI etc if I decide to go down that route.

Yeah Stulid, I was looking at the MSI GeForce GTX 470 Twin Frozr II 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-Expressto boost a bit more? worth the extras cash?

Nice spec ask stulid for opinions on it. Do you really want dual monitors?

my opinon is you haven't read his first thread, so you have missed out the two monitors, added a unnecessary gpu.

Thanks for all the input guys.

As Stulid has said, for about that kind of money for a GPU, the MSI 5850 is better

Is there any real advantage or disadvantage to getting a ATI GPU as apposed to NVIDIA of vice versa?
