Pretty dead on high it seems! Sent my RMA off on Friday, should have got delivered Monday but nope.. "Sent to wrong depot", who knows what will happen now, will call them see what the beef is. But yeah, sorry for not listening to you guys.. lol

You only ever hear the bad stuff, never the good.

To be fair, this could happen with any company. I've experienced good and bad services from most delivery comapnies I've used, wouldn't stop me using any of them though.

That's why they're called Parcel Farce. UPS or DPD are your best alternative.

Yes, they are indeed known as Parcel Farce.

In the circles I mix in,UPS are sometimes known as "Universally Poor Service" & DPD "Drivers, Pillocks, Dickheads".

Stobart have some "nicknames" also.... ;):D

Good & bad.

Royal Mail have become a pain in the backside too lately. The postmen don't even come on mondays anymore to deliver and one just left a packet with me today but just rang doorbell few times and left it hanging on the door handle with elastic band...he didn't even wait 5-10 seconds for me to get to the door! Also I'm waiting for a 1st class packet from Overclockers which was posted on Thursday and still no sign of it. This type of service and yet they want to go on strike for better pay, do your job properly first!

My posty has become a bit hopeless recently, if he doesn't get an answer at the door he leaves the package with the cafe below me, but, he doesn't put a slip through my door to tell me it's with them.....

i returned a 1U rackmount server back to it's origin using DHL - some time during transit it had been dropped on it's corner from such a height that the corner of the casing (which is all 2 and 3mm thick steel) was deformed by about three or four centimetres.

Got a funny story about waiting for an order from OcUK ...

Ordered an item from OcUK and a non-PC item from rainforest place, both were dispatched same day (Sat 12th Feb), both by Royal Mail.

Rainforest place used 2nd class post (as it was free delivery) and the package arrived yesterday.

Still to see my OcUK delivery ..

How exactly does a 2nd class box arrive before the OcUK item, despite dispatch being at the same time on Saturday.

Ask Royal mail? :p

it's nowt to do with the sender once it's been handed over to the delivery agent.

I'm not complaining about OcUK, just wondering what Royal Fail Snail are upto :/

Knew I should have ordered something else just to get free DPD shipment ... granted I was expecting OcUK to post HDDs by DPD rather than RM in the first place

Last time i had something sent to me and they claimed they attempted delivery at my place, except "my place" was my place of work, and it has a 24 hours reception....to that they replied "you must have not put your company name on the address label, therefore the driver did not enter the building".....

Utter BS, the parcel turned up a day late, and the company name IS on the address label.

It's funny how in a market that is fairly competitive there is actually no really good courier ...

dont whatever you do use DHL. Personally myself ive had many bad expierences with them

Thats why I've always called em 'Documents Hopelesly Lost'

and UPS is 'Useless Paecel Services' to me!..

Most if not all the parcel delivery services I've used have ballsed it up in some way at some point for me!!..

I sometimes think it might be better to Collect myself.. or deliver myself.. no matter where its from or going!!

i've always had very good experiences with DPD and especially UPS.

that said, my UPS deliveries are usually overseas priority mail so they get special delivery schedules.

City Link are another, you will have to wait in all day for a parcel, and find that a note is left " we have attempted delivery" or nether turn up. to save hassle i drove to my nearest depot about 40 mins away to collect a parcel, DHL are ok

Edit : just seen above posts regarding DHL, just deliver yourself lol
