On the rare occasion you will find some aimbotter with an undetected hack, but very rarely in my experience.

My original point was i've seen people in this thread whine about hackers, guys with a 2:1 kd ratio, thats not hacking, thats being a decent player having a good round, people are too quick with the hackusations, because the come upon someone who is just a better player.

Who knows how rare that experience genuinly is. Especially in a game with absolutely no way of speccing a player in the first person. I know of 1 person i used to play with on L4D who did hack because he admitted it. Yes 2:1 is unlikely but still possible, but how many more did i play with on pub servers who could possibly of used it, we'll never know.

How is the game these days fellas? I have been away for over 6 months now :) I am about to come back... has everyone moved to Vietnam? Have hackers moved in? Are there any Hardcore servers still about?

I played on a server on Sunday night and PB was banning played with multihacks very regularly. It felt like it was happening every few minutes. There was also one guy in a tank who finished 26-0 and never ever missed a long range shot, not one shell landed long or short. That's just not normal if you ask me.

I can do that on a good day, i've killed numerous people from one side of a map to the other.
 
How long does it take for this 'Veteran' status to show up..?

I've entered my details for BF1942,Battlefield Vietnam,BF2, 3 days ago, and i still dont have it showing when i play...so i cant get the M1 Garand.

get onto ea live chat and they will sort it for you,they fixed mine am now up2 5

So can I, but not with every single shot without missing. Like I said not one shell landed short or long it was bang on range every time, no matter how far away he was.
 
For the last few weeks ive been getting kicked for this "losing key packets 9005" BS , ive googled it many times and tried the many fixes suggested but no joy and its driving me insane, i can play fine for hours then all of a sudden i get kicked off every server i go on for this error :(

has any one else suffered this ? did you managed to fix it ?
 
I think the published weapon stats for the VSS sniper rifle are wrong. I've recently started using it and think it's a great weapon. I was surprised how quickly i was racking up the kills with it as I'm rubbish with the other sniper rifles. The weapon charts I've seen say that it does 25 damage up close (dropping to 20 at range) with a 2.1 headshot multiplier. I use magnum ammo with it, but still that shouldn't be a one shot headshot kill. Last night though I spotted a few campers so had time to line up a headshot and sure enough - one shot kill.

I've also taken down people at close range with two body shots. :confused:

Now I can play as a recon, hanging just behind the front line spotting enemies and flinging motion sensors and bringing down mortar strikes. k/d ratio is finally going up and I like to think I'm helping out the team.

MG3 with x4, Magnum Ammo is win, although my accuracy sucks atm, so i've gone for more Accuracy than refire rate, and more refire rate than damage.
