If you a trucker have you considered moving into transporting hazardous substances? As I understand it, transporting things like oil requires a special license and commands higher rates of pay.
If you work for a decent company with a decent basic £30k is easily achievable, last week for example I took home £900 and that was basic + commission from 1 order
Can be stressful at times & it isn't always a case of being able to shut off after 5.
More seriously - there aren't many easy routes into a jobs that earn more than 30k pa. However - if you are prepared to work or study hard to get there there are plenty of opportunities to earn much more than that. It comes down to how much you want it.

Its time for me to be controversial again!
You either have it or you don't. You are asking OcUK how to earn more money, so you don't.
Study Mechanical or Electrical or Instrument skills. Get a job in the oil and gas industry as a technician. Once you have gained some experience it is silly money.
You are a trucker and earn £30K? That's pretty decent. My Dad is also a trucker for a company in Stoke you might have heard of. I don't think he's anywhere near 30K though! And he's out most nights.
tis good money but you end up working stupid stupid hours to make it.
i can pull in £800> over a Fri/Sat/Sun but you end up working 14 hour nights for that. and the costs are horrendous and getting worse.
only advantage is you get paid in cash and if your handy with the spanners save yourself a fortune on your rrunning costs
as said plenty guys making over a grand a week you'll pay near half that out in costs and bills a week
taziings a crap game and you have to deal with all sorts of window lickers and muppets just like the chap i picked up last night. Rather drunk and arguing with his own reflection in the window.
Equivalent to a £24k salary then assuming work at a consistent basis on those figures for 48 weeks per year.
Not sure thats a game which sounds sensible to get into, that kind of salary is available in most career paths (even general admin ones) given a basic 9-5 and smalltalk over the coffee machine with an hours lunch office job.
so many here assume to make more money is go find X job....... start your own company, that's probably the best way to make money, do it in your spare time around current job.. cut over to full time when you are ready.
